Cursor control is one narrow form of hand-eye coordination

The eyes guide the hand, but the movement is smaller and simpler than most real-world coordination tasks.

Human Precision links visual information to hand movement through a mouse or trackpad. That is a form of hand-eye coordination, but it is a narrow one.

The movement space is small

Your hand moves across a desk while the pointer moves across a screen. The operating system maps one space onto another. Sensitivity and acceleration settings change that mapping.

Real-world coordination adds more variables

Throwing, catching, striking, driving, and tool use involve depth, force, posture, balance, and larger body movements. A browser game cannot reproduce those demands.

Use the score for the task itself

Distance is a useful Human Precision result. It should not be treated as a universal hand-eye coordination score.
