In a browser game, the device is part of the measurement. A mouse movement, trackpad movement, and touchscreen gesture do not reach the browser through identical hardware and software paths.
Different inputs, different constraints
A mouse gives fine pointer control across a large physical surface, but performance can vary with sensor quality, polling rate, operating-system settings, acceleration, and the user’s grip. A trackpad uses a smaller movement area and often applies different gesture processing. Touch removes the separate pointing device, but your finger can cover part of the field and the display must process touch events as well as render the scene.
Use one setup for personal bests
The most useful comparison is usually you against your own previous runs on the same setup. If you switch from a laptop trackpad to a gaming mouse, treat that as a new baseline instead of assuming the scores are directly interchangeable.
Human Precision does not hide the difference
The game supports touch so it remains usable on more devices, but desktop mouse input is the reference experience. The leaderboard does not apply a fictional correction factor that claims to make every device equivalent.
